The small print
Privacy notice.
MIRVA is a stylist. It helps you choose an outfit in a store, and shows you a picture of yourself wearing it. To do that it needs to see you for a moment. This notice says what MIRVA takes in, what it keeps, and what it never does.

- The camera is a mirror. Nothing is recorded.
- Your picture leaves the mirror only when you ask to wear a look.
- At a store mirror, MIRVA does not keep your picture.
- If you make an account, your portraits are kept only so you can have them. You can delete everything from your phone.
- We never sell what we know about you. We never use your pictures in advertising or to train software.

At a store mirror
You do not need an account to use a mirror in a store, and you do not need to give your name.

You can use a store mirror with the camera off. You will still get looks, sizes and prices.
The store’s staff can see the screen while you use it, as with any mirror. The store does not receive a copy of any picture of you.
In your MIRVA account
An account is free and is your choice. It lets you keep looks, remember your sizes, make a few portraits at home, and ask family to vote.

We do not ask for your phone number, your address, your date of birth or your measurements.
Your pictures
- The camera frame goes to the try-on engine only when you ask for a look.
- Portraits made at a store mirror without an account are not stored.
- Portraits made in your account are stored only so you can keep them. A portrait you do not keep is deleted after two days. A portrait you keep stays in your wardrobe until you remove that look or delete your account.
- Boards. When you make a board, anyone who has the link can see the looks on it, including any portrait of you that you put there. A board closes after three days. You can close it sooner. Once it is closed, the people you sent it to can no longer see the looks or your portraits. Share the link only with people you trust.
- People who vote on your board. We store their vote and the name they type, if they type one. A small cookie lets them change their vote.

We have no payment company yet, because nothing on MIRVA costs a shopper money today.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent what we know about you.
- We never use your pictures in advertising.
- We never use your pictures to train or improve any software.
- We never give a store your pictures, or your account details.
- We never use what you bought or looked at in one store to sell to you for another store.
- We never try to recognise who you are from your face. The mirror only finds where a person is standing.
- We never take body measurements.
- We never turn on a microphone or ask for your location.
- We never add things to your profile that you did not give us.

Before any picture is sent
The first time you ask for a look, the mirror tells you in plain words that one picture will go to the try-on engine, which runs outside Pakistan, and asks you to say yes. If you say no, nothing is sent. At a store mirror every shopper is asked. A light on the mirror shows whenever its camera is on, and you can turn the camera off there.
A look is a likeness, not a fitting. The mirror says so beside it and shows the store’s own photograph next to it when you ask.
Taking a picture down
If a picture of you made with MIRVA is somewhere you did not want it to be, tell us at [email] or [phone]. We answer within 24 hours. We will delete any copy we hold, close any board it is on, and tell you in writing what we held and what we removed. We cannot remove a copy that someone else saved to their own phone, and we will say so plainly.
Your account page keeps a list of every look and portrait you have removed, with the date, so you have your own record that it is gone.
See, download or delete what we hold
Everything is on your account page.
- See it. Your wardrobe, sizes, boards and portraits are all there.
- Download it. Tap “Download my data”. You get a file with your account details, your wardrobe, your boards and a list of your portraits.
- Change it. Edit your name and sizes at any time.
- Remove one look. Removing a look from your wardrobe deletes its portrait too.
- Delete everything. Tap “Delete my account” and type your password. Your account, wardrobe, portraits, boards and sign-ins are deleted. Records of mirror activity stay, with nothing that links them to you.
If you cannot sign in, write to [email] from the address on your account. We will answer within [7] days.
If you used a store mirror without an account, we hold no picture and no name for you, so there is nothing to delete. If you are worried about a visit, write to us with the store and the day, and we will tell you what we can see.
Children
A MIRVA account is for people aged [18] or over. At a store mirror, a person under [18] should use the camera only with a parent or guardian.
Cookies and your device
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. If you vote on a board, we use one more so you can change your vote. We use no advertising cookies and no trackers.
On your own phone or computer, the MIRVA page may remember your size and your last choices in that browser, so you do not have to repeat them. Clearing the browser’s site data removes them. A store mirror remembers nothing about you after you finish.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will put the new date at the top. If the change affects your pictures or who receives them, we will tell you on your account page and by email before it takes effect, and you can delete your account if you do not agree.
